Opening Segment: As the match list is shown, J.R. is told through his earpiece that something is going on in the back. The camera goes to the back and we see Mankind hitting “Double J” Jesse James over the head with a bowl of salad. It appeared that the WWF Hardcore title match had already started.
"Double J" Jesse James Def. Mankind (10:05): The two competitors are finally seen on the stage, hitting each other with punches back and forth. The two men battled across the stage, along the entrance way and ringside. As the match came near a close, Mankind went to the apron and pulled out a bag of tacks. After spreading them on the mat of the ring, He picked up Jesse and delivered a double arm DDT onto them. Mankind however, only received a near-fall on the outside. Mankind then went to grab a shovel from earlier in the match and as he climbed to the apron, Jesse hit him with a trash can lid and Mankind dropped the shovel. Jesse then grabbed the shove, met Mankind on the apron and noticed a table set up on the outside. Using the shovel, James performed a Russian leg sweep off of the apron, through the table. Jesse landed with one of his arms on Mankind and was awarded the pin fall, retaining his championship.
The Road Warriors & Mark Henry Def. The New Blackjacks & Faarooq (6:21): Starting off, Mark Henry dominated "Blackjack" Windham. Windham is able to get a tag on Bradshaw after Windham kicked Henry’s leg out. Bradshaw gets in and starts taking it to Henry. After a few tags in and out on both teams side, Road Warrior Animal started to get some momentum back for his team. He was able to really break down Faarooq. Faaroq was about to get attacked by Mark Henry, but he was able to escape the ring. "Blackjack" Windham turned around to Mark Henry, Who then hit a World's Strongest Slam on him. Animal picked Windham up and Hawk climbed the turnbuckle and they hit the Doomsday Device. Animal was able to get the three count.
Post-Match Segment: "The New Blackjacks" and Faarooq are all seen in the ring. After being pinned, "Blackjack" Windham was trying to apologize to both of them. They forgave Windham... Until Windham turned around and is hit with a Clothesline From Hell. Faarooq and Bradshaw walked up the walkway together, leaving "Blackjack" Windham behind.
"Wildman" Marc Mero Def. The Patriot (6:00): The match started off with a lot of back and forth strikes ,but Marc Mero took advantage of the Patriot with an eye poke and continued to beat The Patriot down. Pillman took advantage and attacked Owen from behind. He then used different technical and submission holds on Owen, to keep him from tagging in Bulldog. After surviving an assault at the hands of both Pillman and Shamrock, Owen was able to make a tag to the unwilling and still not full healthy Bulldog. Pillman began to work on The Bulldog's head. Davey Boy miraculously fought his way back and hit a power slam on Pillman. Instead of going for the pin, he tried to make the tag to Owen. Smith nearly got his hand to Owen, when Owen pulled his arm away and dropped from the apron. Bulldog, not knowing what to do, tried to fend of Pillman and Shamrock.
